Kashmir policeman decamps with four guns, forces launch manhunt | KNO

A policeman is elusive after decamping with four guns in Jammu and Kashmir, sources said on Saturday.

Jammu and Kashmir police constable who was posted as a guard at the Food Cooperation of India godown in Budgam district has been missing and has taken four guns with him. A police officer said that constable Syed Naveed Mushtaq who was posted at the FCI godown in Budgam’s Nassalpora has decamped with four Self Loading Rifles. “He fled away with 04 SLR rifles along with ammunition which include his own weapon and rifles of other police personnel,” the officer said. Highly placed sources added that two friends of constable came to the godown and when the other policemen led a joint prayer, the constable and his friends fled away.
